TryPromptFlow

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about running an AI workflow diagnostic with TryPromptFlow.

How It Works

What does TryPromptFlow actually check?

TryPromptFlow runs a multi-stage diagnostic on your AI workflow, prompt, SOP, or agent instruction set. It checks for completeness gaps (missing context or edge-case handling), specificity failures (instructions too vague to execute consistently), executability problems (conflicting or impossible-to-follow instructions), escalation path coverage, role and tool clarity, and structural failure modes that cause inconsistent output over time.

What is the difference between Workflow Doctor, Agentic Workflow Doctor, and Workflow OS Doctor?

Workflow Doctor diagnoses human-facing and AI-assisted workflows — the instructions, SOPs, and operating rules that govern how work gets done. Agentic Workflow Doctor diagnoses multi-agent systems — tool orchestration, handoff design, context passing, and agent instruction coherence. Workflow OS Doctor diagnoses operating systems for entire business functions — the policies, decision rules, and escalation paths that run teams or departments.

How long does a diagnostic take?

Most diagnostics complete in under 10 minutes. Larger or more complex workflows may take slightly longer. You can read early sections of the report while the rest is still generating.

What You Receive

What do I get after running a diagnostic?

Most diagnostics return an Executive Report with a readiness verdict, a Findings Table with severity ratings and recommended fixes, a corrected artifact (repaired SOP, workflow, or instruction set), a Risk Register, a RACI ownership matrix, an Implementation Roadmap, and a KPI Framework. See the sample diagnostic report for a labeled example of each section.

Is the corrected artifact ready to deploy?

The corrected artifact is a structured starting point for review, not a final production-ready document. It reflects the diagnostic findings applied to your submitted workflow. Human review, application of your organizational context, and final approval are always your responsibility. The methodology page explains exactly what the diagnostic does and does not do.

Privacy and Data

Is my submitted workflow kept private?

Yes. Submitted workflows, prompts, and SOPs are processed for your diagnostic and are not used to train models, shared with other users, or retained beyond the session. See the data handling page for the full policy.

Common Workflow Problems

What if my AI workflow is not working consistently between runs?

Session-to-session inconsistency is almost always a structural issue — missing context, underspecified instructions, or ambiguous escalation paths — not a model problem. A workflow diagnostic identifies which specific instruction gaps cause the inconsistency and provides a corrected artifact you can deploy immediately.

Can I use TryPromptFlow for agent pipelines, not just single prompts?

Yes. The Agentic Workflow Doctor is specifically designed for multi-step agent pipelines. It diagnoses tool orchestration failures, broken context handoffs between agents, and instruction coherence problems across the full agent chain — not just individual prompts. Most AI agent failures trace back to handoff design, not the model.

Why does my AI give different answers to the same prompt?

Prompt-level variance is a symptom of instruction underspecification. When the model has room to interpret, it will — and the interpretation shifts across sessions, contexts, and model updates. A workflow root cause analysis identifies the specific underspecification causing the variance and shows exactly what to tighten.

Plans and Pricing

What plans are available?

TryPromptFlow offers one free diagnostic with no credit card required, a $39.00 USD one-time Single Diagnostic, plus Core and Growth monthly plans for teams. Visit the pricing page for current rates and run limits.

Do unused diagnostic runs carry over?

Run allotments reset monthly and do not carry over. If you need more runs mid-cycle, you can upgrade your plan at any time.
